VBF is operated as a 501 (c) (3) organization under the rules of the Internal Revenue Service. This means that contributions to VBF are tax deductible.
Vienna Baseball Foundation has filed with the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services under the Virginia Solicitation of Contributions Law and is registered and approved to raise funds in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Funds in the VBF portfolio are invested under a standard asset allocation plan using Modern Portfolio Theory approved by the Board of Directors of VBF and a registered funds manager. Assets include small positions in large cap, mid cap and small cap equities, foreign equities, short term bonds, foreign bonds and high income bonds. VBF does not use any market timing strategies.
